Dr. Katie Alexander
OrthodontistDr. Alexander was born and raised in Beaver County Pennsylvania with a big extended family. Growing up Dr. A loved all things sports, especially soccer. She played for Beadling Soccer Club and practiced as close as 10 minutes from KSG! Soccer eventually led Dr. A to Miami University of Ohio where she played Division I soccer and also graduated Summa Cum Laude. Don’t hesitate to ask her for some tips on being a college athlete and scholar!
After graduating Dr. Alexander trained at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and won many of the same awards as Dr. Kulkarni – which is one of many reasons why she has been chosen to become a member of our team! After studying all things dental, Dr. A decided orthodontics was her passion! She attended Tempe University Department of Orthodontics for specialty training, where she also received her Masters in Oral Health Sciences. During her time at Temple, Dr. A loved to explore the city of Philadelphia and try all the amazing food. Ask her for any restaurant / activity recommendations if you ever are planning a trip!
In her free time, Dr. Alexander loves traveling, hiking and most importantly hanging out with her big family. She is best friends with her sisters and even lived with both of them during her dental school training (somehow they are all still very close). Dr. A loves being getting to know people and can’t wait to meet all the patients of KSG!
