Your First Visit
Choosing to get orthodontic care is a major decision for anyone and we know you have choices. At KSG Orthodontics, we respect your reasons for choosing to improve your confidence, to improve the way you look, and feel. We will work with you every step of the way to make sure every aspect of your experience is amazing. KSG Orthodontics uses the newest technology and will take time getting to know you in order to share potential options to provide the customized care you deserve.
Initial Consult
Each Patient begins with a personal, individualized, consultation that is specific to you. We include treatment options after getting to know you. During this initial visit, we will do a thorough exam to find out what is best for you. We will:
- Review your medical and dental forms
- Complete a thorough exam using radiographs, photos, an oral exam, and a digital scan of your teeth
- Create a customized plan for you
- Discuss financial information, insurance coverage, and payment options
- Answer any questions to provide you with as much information as possible to help you make a decision that is right for you
In many circumstances we can begin treatment for you the very same day. Be prepared to get on the path to your confident, radiant smile!
Appointment Scheduling
Allowing Dr. Kulkarni to see you regularly, every 4-8 weeks or so will be very helpful for monitoring your treatment so that the best results can be achieved. When you are ready to schedule your consult, call KSG Orthodontics at 412-409-4444 and we make every attempt to find a time that is right for you. We want it to be convenient for you and your busy schedule! Visit our Forms Page to fill out your forms before arrival!
We understand that sometimes things happen! If you are running late, or need to reschedule, give us a call and let us know. We will do our best to accomodate you so we can see you as soon as possible.
But don’t forget to continue to see your dentist during treatment - it is vital!
It is SO IMPORTANT to see your dentist every 6 months while in orthodontic treatment, or more often if the dentist recommends it. We will be happy to coordinate any procedures with your dentist and communicate as much as possible. We want you to be sure that your teeth are under the best care possible. Please be sure to keep your appointments with your dentist. Your teeth (and your smile) will thank you for it!
